Mrs. Dianne F. Corvino, Director and Principal, has been a teacher at Saint Francis
since 1991. In addition, she purchased the school in May 1999. She
holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from Immaculata University and is a
Certified Pre-School Teacher by the Pennsylvania Board of Private Academic
Schools. Mrs. Corvino is also a member of the Delaware County Early
Childhood Education Association.
The Pennsylvania Board of Private Academic Schools licenses all teachers at
Saint Francis Nursery School. Our teachers have collectively over 25 years
of experience in Early Childhood Education.
Our staff of Teacher's Aides have collectively over 30 years of experience
in Early Childhood Education.
CLASSES: 2007 - 08 SCHOOL YEAR
Mrs. Delee Laird teaches a 4/5 year-old class at Saint Francis
with children attending either three days per week, (Monday, Wednesday and Friday),
four days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday), or all
five days per week. Mrs. Laird has been teaching at Saint Francis since September 1999
and is the Assistant Director of the school. She graduated from the University of Western
Ontario in Canada with a Bachelors of Arts degree, a Bachelors of Education, and a Masters
of Education and is a Certified Pre-School Teacher by the Pennsylvania Board of Private
Academic Schools. Mrs. Laird has taught in public schools grades K through 3, spent one
year teaching English in high school and has over 20 years experience in the Education
field. For four years, she held a library story hour for children
Mrs. Dianne Corvino teaches the 3 year-old age group at Saint Francis with children
attending three days per week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, or two days per week,
Tuesday and Thursday only. Mrs. Corvino has taught at Saint Francis since 1990
and has over 20 years experience in Early Childhood Education. She holds a
Bachelors of Arts degree from Immaculata University in Malvern and is a Certified Pre-School
Teacher by the Pennsylvania Board of Private Academic Schools.
All teachers are members of the Delaware County Early Childhood Educators Association.
