In November, we will be talking about the seasons, and in particular Fall. We will prepare our own Thanksgiving Feast and learn more about Thanksgiving, Native Americans, and our first settlers. We will also begin to practice our songs and fingerplays for our Holiday Program. So don’t be surprised if you hear your little elves singing a happy holiday tune!

THANKSGIVING FEAST: We will have our Thanksgiving Feast (with food prepared by our own children) at school on Monday, November 19 or Tuesday, November 20 during regular class times. Our Pilgrims and Native Americans will have a grand time feasting together!

HOLIDAY REMINDERS: Thanksgiving Vacation begins at the end of our school day on Tuesday, November 20. There is no school on Wednesday, November 21, Thursday, November 22, and Friday, November 23. School will resume on Monday, November 26.

EXTENDED DAY: If you are interested in an extended day for the Christmas shopping season, please drop me a note indicating the dates. I will let you know if there is enough interest.

LUNCH BUNCH: There will be 4 Mondays (5,12,19,26), 3 Wednesdays (7,14, 28), 2 Thursdays (1,15), and 4 Fridays (2,9,16,30).

**KINDER MUSIC:I have scheduled a demonstration for the Kinder Music Program on MONDAY, THE 26TH immediately following regular class time. This demo will last approximately ½ hour. Come and learn more about this Music program. All parents and students are invited to participate in this free demonstration. If there is enough interest in the program, it will be offer- red on Mondays beginning in January. Please let us know if you will attend.

TUITION PAYMENT: November tuition payment is due by the first of the month which can be sent in an envelope with your child's name on it. Billings for lunch bunch and the trip to Sugartown Strawberries in October will be sent home this month. It is due upon receipt.

FYI: The Christmas Program is scheduled for Friday, December 14th for ALL CLASSES. Times will be announced later.

******Please remember to dress your child for the colder weather—we do go outside everyday! Also, don’t forget to label EVERYTHING!!!

APPLICATIONS FOR 2008-2009 will be sent home in December.
